Fuel poverty in Sussex
Fuel poverty takes place when a household needs
to spend more than 10% of its income on fuel in order to maintain
a satisfactory heating regime. In 2005, fuel poverty affected 2
million households in the UK (read here
for more details). As domestic energy asessors, we may have opportunities
to inform householders about their rights to grants and help with
fuel bills.
