Every DEA must undertake a reasonable amount of continuing professional development. Each DEA should know the requirments of their accrediting body.

SussexIDEAS meetings count as CPD. At each meeting we discuss a few properties of interest. There are also speakers and/or trainers. Members should record the meetings they attend and allocate an amount of time, e.g. 2 hours.

SussexIDEAS is one of the regional groups of the Institute of Domestic Energy Assessors (IDEA), which aims to provide regular formal CPD throughout the regions. They have general advice on CPD.
